A patient with strong glabella movement may need a different plan from someone whose main concern is light forehead movement or early crow’s feet. Brow position, facial asymmetry, prior neurotoxin treatment and the amount of movement you want to preserve also affect dosing.

The provider assesses the face at rest and during expression so the treatment is placed in the muscles actually creating the concern.
Use unit ranges as references, not prescriptions
Published unit ranges help estimate cost, but the final dose depends on anatomy, muscle strength, treatment history and desired movement.
Reassess after full effect
Botox continues developing after treatment. The result is better judged around day 14 than during the first few days.

Is a Botox lip flip the same as lip filler?
No. A lip flip uses a small Botox dose to reduce muscle pull around the upper lip so slightly more of the existing lip shows. Lip filler physically adds volume and shape.
