IPL PhotoFacial

REMOVE IMPERFECTIONS

What is IPL PhotoFacial?

IPL photofacial is a popular cosmetic treatment that uses intense pulsed light to help improve the appearance of skin imperfections such as sun damage, age spots, and fine lines. This non-invasive treatment delivers light to the skin, which helps break up the pigment and stimulate the production of new, healthy skin cells. IPL photofacial is generally painless and requires little to no downtime, making it an excellent option for those looking to improve the overall appearance of their skin without undergoing invasive procedures. Patients can see a noticeable improvement in their skin’s texture, tone, and clarity with just a few treatments.

IPL PHOTOFACIAL TERATMENTS

As we age, our skin undergoes changes that can result in blemishes and imperfections, making us look older than we feel. At Skin Works, we understand the discomfort and distress of feeling uncomfortable in your skin. Fortunately, we offer a solution to this problem by selecting laser treatments and light therapy, including IPL Photofacial. Our IPL treatment can help eliminate signs of aging and other facial imperfections, giving you a renewed and revitalized appearance. This affordable and non-invasive treatment is a great way to restore your confidence and feel great in your skin again.

IPL FACIAL

We use IPL Photofacial as a rejuvenation treatment and utilize intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat various skin issues effectively. IPL works by penetrating the epidermis with bright light, which helps to bring pigment cells to the surface and even out uneven pigmentation. IPL Photofacial can fix pigmentation on various body areas, including the face, neck, shoulders, chest, back, arms, legs, and more. With its versatility and effectiveness, IPL Photofacial is a popular choice for those seeking to improve the appearance of their skin.

HOW DOES IPL WORK?

Environmental factors and aging can compromise our skin’s texture and appearance. Photofacials, using IPL treatment, directly target and rejuvenate these affected layers. By exfoliating, stimulating collagen production, and repairing damage, regular photofacials can restore a youthful vibrancy and resilience to the skin.

IPL PHOTOFACIAL BENEFITS

IPL Photofacial technology is a versatile and effective way to improve the appearance of your skin by targeting hyperpigmentation and vascular issues. At Skin Works, we use state-of-the-art IPL technology that can be customized to your specific skin type and desired outcomes. This treatment can gently and effectively address various skin problems, including discoloration and blemishes, signs of aging, acne, spider veins, and pigment issues like rosacea and broken capillaries.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR IPL?

For those looking to refresh skin marred by environmental or genetic factors, IPL therapy could be your answer. It’s most effective for those in good health, not on skin medications or pregnant, and committed to the treatment plan.

WHEN DO I SEE IPL RESULTS?

After an IPL session, initial skin discoloration is common, but you’ll soon feel and see smoother skin. Within a week or two, skin clarity and tone markedly improve. Blemishes may darken before surfacing and then fade with natural exfoliation. As treatments continue, wrinkles lessen, and skin tightens, paving the way for the radiant skin you desire.

HOW MUCH DOES IPL PHOTOFACIAL COST?

IPL Photofacial pricing varies based on the type of machinery, treatment area, and technician expertise. In Los Angeles, a session typically costs between $200 and $700, with multiple sessions often needed. At Skin Works, we prioritize transparency in pricing and offer interest-free plans for affordability. For our latest rates, scroll below. If you are looking to decrease the visibility of freckles, broken capillaries, liver spots, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, or other areas of hyperpigmentation, then an IPL Photofacial is for you! Both men and women enjoy clearer looking skin after treatment!

What areas can be treated with IPL Laser?

The face, neck, chest, and arms usually have the best results; however, most areas of the body can be treated.

For individuals with skin that is Fitzpatrick type 1-4, treatment is extremely safe and should have minimal side effects and recovery time; however, individuals with Fitzpatrick skin types 5 or 6 are not candidates for treatment. One of our skilled medical professionals will determine your skin type and let you know if you are a candidate for an IPL Photofacial.

Who is not a candidate for an IPL Facial?

Individuals who are very tan or that have darker skin tones should not get an IPL Photofacial because the treatment targets pigment in the skin. You cannot receive an IPL Photofacial if you have an active herpes breakout or have used Accutane within the last 6 months. Those with a history of seizures are warned about the bright light that occurs at the beginning of treatment and, depending on the seizure history, possibly advised against treatment. Women that are pregnant or nursing are advised to postpone treatment, as is common with most elective procedures.

What skin tones are best for an IPL PhotoFacial?

Fair to medium skin tones tend to have the best results!
