Plasma fibroblast or Fibroblast Plasma Therapy is a non-surgical procedure in which skin layers receive a controlled injury by the plasma pen. As a result, plasma skin tightening triggers your body to produce new collagen and elastin. Depending on the treatment area, final results vary. Even though plasma lifting is known to create great results when used for an ‘eye lift‘, it can produce results in many other areas as well.

How Does Plasma Lifting Work?
The Plasma fibroblast pen has a tip that converts power into an electrostatic impulse. The pen is held close to your skin and emits a flash of plasma (light not blood) creating tiny holes all in a row. The skin around the dots naturally shrinks causing the skin to stretch. Our trained medical professionals apply a medical-grade numbing cream so you won’t feel any discomfort.
The dots on your skin will turn pink, form scabs, and in about two weeks will disappear. You will then notice a dramatic improvement in the treatment area.
Some patients may experience some minor side effects like tiny brown marks, and redness in the first five to ten days after plasma fibroblast treatment. However, at Skin Works, we make sure to give you full and simple aftercare instructions to help you achieve your beauty goals.
Remember, the at-home devices and commercial pens aren’t going to do ‘plasma lifting’. Always get your beauty treatment in a medical facility with certified nurses and doctors.
The Plasma Fibroblast Pen has a tip that converts power into an electrostatic impulse. This energy stimulates fibroblasts which are common cells in the body that produce collagen. You will then notice a dramatic improvement in the texture of the treatment area.
Who is the ideal candidate?
If you want to correct the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and scars without the need for a single cut or stitch this is the perfect solution. Darker skin types may not be good candidates for plasma fibroblast treatment.

How long does it take to heal from plasma pen? Will I need time to recover?
Depending on your comfort level, working situation, and lifestyle, you can resume your normal work immediately. However, the tiny plasma flash causes ‘crusts’ to form on the skin giving the distinctive dotting effect. You can also experience significant swelling in the area treated, particularly in the eye area.
Swelling is often seen the day after treatment and peaks at days 2-3. After day 3, the swelling subsides and ‘crusts’ or scabs will start forming. These scabs will typically fall or flake off after 1 week.
