Kybella For Chin and Neck

What is Kybella For Chin and Neck?

Kybella’s active ingredient is synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is naturally in the body. Fat absorption occurs when synthetic deoxycholic acid breaks down cell membranes of fat cells. Kybella is injected into the body, fat cells dissolve over several weeks, and naturally eliminated. Any remaining synthetic deoxycholic acid is broken down in the body and eliminated as waste. Kybella can be used to treat double chin and neck fat problems.

What is Kybella?

Kybella is an injectable medication used in the treatment of moderate to severe fat accumulation, especially in the chin area. It is currently the only FDA-approved treatment of its kind!

How does Kybella work?

Deoxycholic acid naturally occurs in the body and is the active ingredient of Kybella. The primary purpose of Deoxycholic acid is to break down fat cells and allow them to be absorbed and cleared by the lymphatic and circulatory systems. Normally it takes the body several weeks to destroy all the fat cells. Kybella follows the same path on a larger scale!

Is Kybella safe?

Yes! Kybella is FDA-approved! Our highly skilled medical professionals use artful precision to ensure your treatment is safe with beautiful results!

Who should get Kybella treatments?

Anyone that wants to reduce the presence of fat tissue around the chin and jawline or other areas such as the knees, abdomen, or around the bra line! Kybella treatments are used as an alternative to CoolSculpting and liposuction. Both men and women love the quick, convenient treatment and the fact that you can go right back to what you have planned for the day!

What areas can I treat with Kybella?

Kybella is normally used to treat fat that is stored in the chin area; however, it may also be used to remove unwanted fat deposits in many areas, including your knees, abdomen, or around your bra line!

How should I prepare for my Kybella treatment?

There is nothing that you need to do before treatment, except to plan treatment for at least 3-6 months prior to any special events you may have planned. This ensures that results will be fully developed and gives your skin time to adjust.

What does it feel like to get a Kybella treatment?

During your Kybella treatment, you will get multiple small injections with a small needle to the treatment area. Each injection will usually feel similar to a tiny pinprick.

Does it hurt to get a Kybella treatment?

Numbing agents are used during the injection process, so most people experience no sensation or pain at the injection site. You may feel a slight tingling or burning sensation in the treatment area after your procedure. These sensations are usually short-lived and will not interfere with your usual activities!

How long does it take to get a Kybella treatment?

Treatment under the chin will typically take up to 15 to 30 minutes. Other areas of the body, such as the knees, bra line, or abdomen, usually take around 30 minutes.

How quickly will I see results?

You can expect to see results within a few weeks of treatment.

What kind of results can I expect?

Individuals treated with Kybella in a clinical study noticed up to 80% reduction in the size of their “double chin!”

Are results permanent?

Yes! Kybella treatments target the fat cells, destroy them, and remove them. As long as you are not continuing to gain excess weight, you will notice a dramatic improvement within the first few treatments!

Will the results look natural?

Yes! Kybella works with your body to reduce fat cells naturally. The results are similar to what it would look like if you had lost weight.

Do I need time to recover from my Kybella treatment?

No! You can return to your daily activities after treatment. When planning events after treatment, remember that it is possible for swelling or bruising to occur!

What are the side effects of Kybella treatment?

Sometimes swelling, bruising, redness, areas of hardness, numbness, or pain may occur in the treated area. These are not all of the side effects; however, these are the most common.

Will I need any follow-up care?

No! You can return to your normal routine and schedule!

When should I get my next Kybella treatment?

Our highly skilled medical professionals will let you know if you are a candidate for multiple treatments. If so, you should wait at least 4 weeks before your next treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Our highly skilled medical professionals will assess the area and discuss your treatment options with you. Kybella comes in vials and each vial will usually treat an area the size of two business cards. Treating the chin and jawline can take one to four vials per treatment, depending on the amount of fat tissue in the area. If you are looking for a dramatic level of correction, then multiple treatments will likely be recommended. Individuals that have high amounts of fat tissue or that desire the maximum correction may get up to 6 treatments with each treatment at least a month from the last.

Who should not be treated with Kybella?

If you have an infection in the treatment area or are pregnant or nursing, you should not be treated with Kybella. Individuals with bleeding abnormalities should use caution as bruising in the treatment area may occur. If you cannot receive Kybella treatments, we have other options available, so don’t worry!

Can I get my treatment before I travel or before a special event?

You can travel right away; however, if you have a special event coming up, schedule your Kybella treatment at least 3 months prior to the event. There can be swelling, bruising, and/or pain after treatment and we want to ensure that you look your best!

How much does it cost to get a Kybella treatment?

Each Kybella treatment requires one to four vials. We charge you per vial and offer package discounts for those wanting to purchase multiple treatments.

Do you offer discounts or have any specials?

We offer discounts for packages of multiple treatments. Please check in with us to see if we are offering any specials.

Which treatment is for me? Kybella or CoolSculpting?

Kybella can sometimes cause mild pain and/or swelling after treatment. If you’re looking for no social downtime, then cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, may be a better option. If you’re looking to treat a “double chin” as quickly as possible, then Kybella may be right for you!

How can I start getting Kybella treatments?

Call and schedule a free consultation and/or treatment. Our skilled medical professionals always discuss the procedure and your treatment options with you prior to any procedure!
